WAM UK Bios (by alphabetical order)

Costanza Beltrame is a Project Manager at FINCA UK, managing initiatives in the area of fundraising, public outreach and social investments in the UK and Europe. Previously Costanza worked in ethical sourcing with the consultancy Green Rewards Ltd and with The Fair Trade Foundation. Costanza holds a MSc in International Development Management from Westminster Business School.

Andrea Camargo is the Chief Strategy Officer of the Microinsurance Catastrophe Risk Organisation (MiCRO). Andrea is a qualified lawyer from Colombia with more than 17 years’ experience in insurance and 11 years’ experience in the microinsurance sector. Andrea started her career working in a Colombian law firm specialised in Insurance Law, Andrea continued her professional career as an associate in the international arbitration team in one of the magic circle law firms. In 2008, while researching consumer protection on microinsurance in Bangladesh for four months, she was inspired to refocus her career on inclusive insurance. Prior to joining MiCRO, Andrea became known as one of the global leaders in microinsurance advisory and diagnostics through her consultancy work and academic research.

Kim Croucher works in Risk Management at a major UK Corporate and Investment bank. Prior to her current role, she worked in Credit Risk and M&A roles at JPMorgan in London and Hong Kong. She has an active interest in gender equality issues and is a member of the Leadership Circle of Women for Women International and is a Trustee on the board of FORWARD, a leading organisation in tackling FGM, child marriage and obstetric fistula. She has a BSc Management from the London School of Economics.

Fatima Iqbal, an original WAM SC member, has spent the past two years in Singapore and Bangkok. She worked in Citigroup transaction services for nearly 6 years in London and Istanbul and recently completed a master’s in public administration at LSE and NUS (dual degree). She is currently working as a research consultant and freelance writer covering sustainable development.

Annalisa Plachesi is a philanthropy manager at VisionFund International, a financial inclusion social enterprise owned by World Vision International. With strong experience in fundraising and marketing, she has been working in international development for more than 5 years. Previous experiences include work in a UK political think tank and other not for profit bodies.  Annalisa holds a MA in Diplomatic Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of London (University of Westminster) and a BA in Interpreting and Translating.  She is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and German.

Dr Natalie Schoon is a senior consultant in risk management, change management, Islamic finance, and compliance for both investment banks, wealth management firms, and development financial institutions. She has, for example, worked on regulatory change projects for large European based institutions, treasury change in the Middle East and developed and implemented the Islamic financial infrastructure for agricultural finance in Afghanistan. She has lived and worked in the Middle East, Afghanistan, the US and Europe.
